Testimonials

My 23 year old son suffered from almost daily panic attacks since his senior year of high school, and more recently had developed a fear of flying. He was so debilitated he was unable to complete college. Erik saw him weekly for 3 months, and taught him about the physiology of anxiety and panic and several techniques to manage it, including neurofeedback. After only 4 sessions, the panic attacks virtually DISAPPEARED. After 6 weeks of therapy, he was able to manage a round trip flight (3 hours each way) with some slight anxiety but no panic. Several months later, he is enrolled in college again, feeling confident and happy, and reports minimal anxiety issues. Erik explained during a 10 minute presentation how Anxiety and Panic are very treatable conditions, and my son is absolute proof of that. Erik literally taught him how to get his life back on track. He was the 3rd therapist we had tried in as many years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ERIK, and will be forever grateful to him!!

Erik has been helping us and our sons with transitions. Erik is a great person to talk to if you have a bad day. Erik is always up beat with a smile on his face. I think that is why he is so good at what he does. We are able to connect with our kids more frequently now and still making progress. thank you, Erik

Dear Erik,

Last November I brought my 16yr. old son to see you. He has ADHD and was suffering from depression and low self-esteem.  His grades plummeted and he was full of rage and anger. My relationship with him was becoming more antagonistic as I didn’t know how to handle him and the stress going on in our lives.  As we started to see you, I saw him feeling very comfortable and able to talk to you. It was refreshing that he had a release. As the weeks went on, with family counseling our relationship became more loving. My son was able to see I was truly there for him through your guidance.

It is refreshing to know that you are always available to us. I always can call you anytime and you actually pick up the phone and talk to me. That is so rare in this day and age. One time my son was having a severe melt down and you dropped everything, came to our home and sat with him for a couple hours and talked him through his anxiety and fears.

It has been a year of therapy and my son is social, playing guitar in our church youth group band, he is passing all his subjects in school and even has a sweet girlfriend. Things are not perfect but we are on the right road.

My son has a friend, a confidant and a trained professional in you, who truly cares about him and our family. Thank you Erik for “living the calling you were chosen to do.”

Sincerely,

A Mom who believes in you!
